Tokyo International Friends & Events (TIFE) is a Tokyo-based international community that connects locals, expats, and travelers through events like language exchanges, parties, trips, workshops, and cultural activities.

Who can join your events?

Everyone is welcome — expats, locals, students, and tourists! No membership fees or age limits. Just check our event calendar and join any activity you like.

How can I join an event?

You can join directly through our event calendar on the website, our Meetup group, or message us via Instagram or LINE for quick registration.

Do you host events in English or Japanese?

Most of our events are bilingual (English and Japanese). Some language exchanges focus on specific languages like Spanish, French, or Chinese.

Where are the events held?

Most events take place in Shinjuku, Shibuya, or Asakusa areas, but we also organize trips and cultural experiences across Japan.
