Maksim Polkin, originally from Russia, has 8 years of practical experience in the sake industry and 7 years of practical experience in the whiskey industry.
He has also worked for 8 years as a sake and whiskey instructor at ENOTRIA Wine School in Moscow.
He has spoken on the topics of Japanese sake and whiskey at seminars in Russia, Ukraine, the UK, Armenia, Georgia, and Belarus.
In 2018, he received Level 3 certification from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) in the UK, and in 2019 he completed the WSET Educator course in Japan.
