Samurai Workshop : Lets learn the traditional Japanese art of Kenbu. Under the guidance of Master Hiryu, you will learn the fundamentals of handling a Japanese sword, executing slashing techniques, and performing simple samurai actions. In addition, you will be instructed on the proper handling of a Japanese fan and the etiquette of bowing and walking in traditional arts.

■【Samurai Master : Hiryu Sensei】

【Background】 Born in Tokyo, Japan.

Born in 1982, started working in theater and film mainly in Tokyo and traveled around the world.

By mastering the traditional Japanese art of stage combat, known as “sakabato,” I came to recognize the value of Japanese culture.

With a desire to convey its magnificence, upon returning to Japan, I began instructing stage combat and choreography for film productions.

In 2016, I established the stage combat performance team called “Tokyo Asakusa Kenbu Kai Edge.”

Working as a group, our aim is to spread the spirit of Japanese culture to a wide range of people and convey the splendor of Japanese traditions.

In 2019, I established the sakabato style “Shiden Ryu” and currently operate its headquarters in Tokyo, with branch locations in Katsushika, Chiba, Shizuoka, and Tochigi.

In 2021, I obtained the license of “Natori” and “Shihan” in the Japanese traditional dance style of Wakasato Ryu.

I am not only a performer in stage combat, iaido, kenjutsu, Japanese traditional dance, lion dance, and calligraphy, but also work as an instructor in dance choreography, stage combat, and dance.

Furthermore, I am involved in the production, planning, and management of various organizations, showcasing a diverse range of activities.
